Blake Comeau will be back in the Islanders lineup on Thursday after missing one game with back spasms. Comeau suffered the injury when he was slammed into the boards by Michael Ryder on Saturday. He has 12 goals and 22 points in 48 games this season. Activate him if you normally would.

Mar 11, 3:08PM
Colin Wilson, Cody Franson and Alexander Sulzer are eligible to play in the AHL playoffs. Should the Predators not make the post-season or if they are eliminated early enough, then the young trio could get in valuable post-season play in the minors. This could only help them get ready for a long NHL career as the experience will be of great benefit in their development.

Mar 11, 2:59PM
Cal Clutterbuck (charley horse) may play on Thursday. Clutterbuck skated at practice on Thursday and declared himself ready to play after missing Tuesday's game. "Judging from how I felt, I will definitely be able to play," Clutterbuck said. "Whether I play or not is up to the coaches." Clutterbuck chips in offensively but if you use hits as a category, Clutterbuck is gold as he is second in the NHL in hits with 256, one behind Ryan Callahan, despite playing ten less games.

Brent Burns - D - MIN:

Mar 11, 2:55PM
Brent Burns (hip) will not play on Thursday. Burns tried to skate at the morning practice on Thursday but could not finish practice. "He won't be going," Wild coach Todd Richards said. "He tried skating today and just didn't feel good. It's still weak and sore so he won't be playing." Keep the defenseman reserved for now.

Mar 11, 2:50PM
Jonathan Bernier has been recalled by the Los Angeles Kings. Bernier was recalled when Jon Quick returned home for the birth of his first child. It is unknown if Bernier or Erik Ersberg will get Friday's start in Dallas. Bernier has been terrific this season with a 26-18-5 record, a dazzling .937 save percentage and a 2.08 GAA. Bernier deserves a shot in goal, but is stuck behind Quick this season. He should play next season with the Kings.

Mar 11, 2:32PM
Justin Peters will get the start in goal for Carolina on Thursday as they take on the Pittsburgh Penguins. Peters has been a pleasant surprise for the Hurricanes as he has 3-1 record with a 1.76 GAA and a .943 save percentage. If he is able to keep the Penguins at bay, then you have to consider that Peters has the right stuff to play in the NHL.
